The antibacterial properties of Mandelic Acid and Salicylic Acid, as well as Willow Bark Extract, help to cleanse pores by dissolving waxy deposits deep within the pore walls and breaking down fatty compounds (eg oily sebum) that can lead to clogged pores and breakouts. In addition, the skin is naturally moisturized by reduced transepidermal water loss (TEWL) through the stimulation of GAGs and ceramides.
